Switching Things Up

I decided that my workouts needed to be enjoyable again. After my workouts are over they are enjoyable, cause well.....there over. In order for this to stay long term and for me to love what I do decided to go back to swimming laps. One day I went to swim laps and the pool was over run by women in bathing suits doing something to music. I now take a water aerobics class 3 times a week and love it.


I will admit that most of the class is very overweight or older. So in that aspect I feel a little weird, but if you put all your effort into this class its actually hard at some points. Have you ever tried running against a current created by 20 people doing laps around the edge of a pool? It is not easy my friends. If you have access to a water aerobics class I highly recommend giving it a try. You never know if you might enjoy it or not. It's also very forgiving on the joint.

I am holding strong at 288.1 right now I am hoping by the end of this month to see a little more down on the scale since the last time I had any weight change was on April 17th.

A long time update

well ladies and gents its been a while. I'm very sorry for being gone for so long. it's hard to balance having a life, work, school and the hubby. So the blog has suffered. Here's an update on life: This past weekend was my 6yr anniversary. I hit my 60lb mark for 6yrs and we celebrated at six flags. Yes, I did fit in the roller coasters!!! every single one! It was a great day. On school, things are going great. I am averaging B's. and finals are this week. Looking forward to the end of semester. Now lets focus on the whole reason for this blog. My weight and Phyllis (my band). I have not gained!! but I have not lost in a couple of weeks. I know why and I am ok with it. We went clothes shopping 2 weeks ago and I bought a size 18 capri's down from a 26! that is a huge success! I am still in a size 20 jeans but I am happy with what I can get. so not only have I been a ton of chocolate but I haven't been working out to much either. So staying the same weight is great. I am trying to get back on the band wagon. So this isn't your I have returned but I gained X amount of pounds. This is just a nice walk back into town just the way I left it.
