Epic Fail

Yep I just ate pizza. Thin crust with veggies from a local place around here. Also I ate 2 of the cookies that I made for the class. My only consolation is that I didn't sit down at work most of the day and I was 900 cals under my food limit when I got to class today. Lets hope the scale doesn't yell at me!

Horrible for me, but O so tasty :(

  1. While it's not the greatest choice - it's not necessarily epic! You'll be okay - I promise. xoxo

  2. Its not epic at all...you are doing great...I love your before and after pics...they show that you definitely are no where near any type of "epic" failure!

  3. Pizza...*drooling* how I miss pizza. I haven't ever been brave enough to try any since surgery. No pizza for a whole year!!! I'm a scaredy cat and try really hard not to break the rules.
BUT it's not the end of the world!!

  4. In the old days, I bet you would have eaten all the pizza and all the cookies! Don't be too hard on yourself - and tomorrow is another day.

  5. I second everybody, except maybe Jessica (she's hardcore! hehe). It's perfectly fine to have pizza every once in a while... and save me a cookie! Just don't freak out if the scale is up a little bit today (which it might not even be).

  7. Pizza is NOT a bad choice! It has LOTS of protein and it tastes YUMMY! I eat pizza every once in a while and I don't feel a bit bad about it.

If I had to guess, I'd say that you, like me, probably used to eat a few pieces of pizza pre-op. Now I'd bet you were stuffed after one or two pieces. The band is doing its job by keeping your portion sizes small. You may have a small weight jump, but it won't last. I'd wait a couple of days to weigh and I doubt you see anything.

Remember that the healthiest and most sustainable diets are ones in which you eat ALL foods in moderation.
